1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BijliFight ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Role of BijliFight (Intermediary Status)

Intermediary Safe Harbor: BijliFight operates as an intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and claims safe harbor protection under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Not a Law Firm: BijliFight is a technology platform that facilitates communication between consumers and electricity distribution companies (DISCOMs). We are not a law firm, and our services do not constitute legal advice. You are advised to consult a qualified legal professional for any legal matters.

3. No Guarantees

While we strive to assist users in resolving electricity disputes, BijliFight makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the outcome of any dispute. Specifically, we do not guarantee:

  • Any response or timely action from any DISCOM or regulatory authority.
  • Any waiver, reduction, or refund of electricity charges.
  • The resolution of your dispute in your favor.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including valid electricity bills and personal details, when using our platform. You are solely responsible for the authenticity of the documents uploaded.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BijliFight and its affiliates, directors, or employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses, loss of data, or legal penalties arising out of your use of the platform.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
